SATURDAY LEAGUE - SCORING OF ABANDONED GAMES

THE CHANGES TO THE SCORING SYSTEM ADOPTED AT THE AGM

OF 14 SEPTEMBER 2008 INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING

SCORING OF ABANDONED GAMES.

In the event of weather calling off play after the game has started

·        The results of completed sets will stand.

·        The remaining set points are to be shared between the teams.

·        The game points and aggregate are awarded to the team leading at

the time play is called off irrespective of the number of ends completed.

·        Should the first set be incomplete all the points shall be shared.

 PREVIOUS RESULTS OF ALL GAMES ABANDONED BEFORE THE FIRST

SET WAS COMPLETED HAS BEEN REVISED.

 The 2009 handbook does not clearly reflect this decision and will be amended.
